On Christmas Eve, children are very happy. They put their stockings 1 the end of their beds before they go to 2. They want Father Christmas 3 them some presents. Mr. Green tells his children that Father Christmas comes 4 Christmas Eve. He lands on the top of each house and comes down the chimney(烟囱) into the fireplace(壁炉) and 5 them a lot of presents. Christmas Day always 6 before breakfast. The children wake up very early. They 7 wait to open the presents in their stockings. Then they wake up their parents and call, "8!" Do you know 9 Christmas means? Christmas Day is the birthday of Jesus Christ. When he was born, many people gave 10 presents. So today, people still do the same thing to one another.
