Always one hundred percent
Every Friday morning my friends and I sit on the rug in class and practice our spelling words before the weekly test. All of us prepare for it very (careful). And everyone wants to do the best. We have a contest (see) who can spell the words the fastest.
One of us sits in our teacher's chair and reads the (spell) words. Whoever slaps(拍击)the floor first gets a two-second head start spelling the word.
A few weeks ago, Miguel had been reading the words, and Kevin and I were spelling (they).For one of the words, I lifted my hand in such a hurry that it (fly)back and hit my nose. We all (laugh )loudly. Miguel laughed so hard that he fell out of the (teacher)chair, and that made us laugh all over again.
There are always interesting things (happen)during the contest. We are happy to take part in the weekly test. Our weekly contest works out (good) even when nothing funny happens. We always get one hundred percent on our spelling test! You should try it.
