    Do you know any famous rabbits？One of the best­known rabbits is Miffy. Dutch artist Dick Bruna created her in 1955 in a picture book.

    During a rainy and windy holiday, Bruna began to write a story to keep his young son happy. Soon, the first 12­page picture book was made, and the world welcomed Miffy, the rabbit.

    Since then, kids from all over the world have gone on a journey with Miffy. Miffy has been in 118 books.

    So what makes her such a popular rabbit？Maybe it comes from her simple style(简洁的风格). She has long ears, two dots for her eyes, and a cross(十字)for her mouth. The simple style makes it easy for children to draw themselves.

    "I spend a lot of time making my drawings as simple as possible, " said Bruna to Junior magazine."I leave lots of space (空间) for children's imagination…That is the strength(力量)of simplicity."
