Once, a poor woman with her little baby (come) to Betty Jo for help. After learning about the woman's trouble, Betty Jo o them a room and helped the woman find a job.
Since then, they have been good (friend). "It's a nice way to make friends by (volunteer)," she always said so.
If everyone tries to help others, the world will be a (good) place to live in.
