Writing for our school newspaper can be great fun. I joined Tang Ying's newspaper reporting team last December.
She taught us (use) writing skills. It opened new door to the world of English. Tang, an interesting and wise teacher, (teach) English for 32 years. She cares about (we) and helps us solve our problems. One mistake we often made was that we would forget to put an "s" after verbs for the third person. Tang encouraged us (think) in another way and imagine that the verb is "naked (裸露的)"without the "s". Besides grammar, Tang also taught us that stories are only half done they don't have good content(内容). Many of our articles didn't have many details (细节) and weren't logical (合逻辑的). She told us that we should write everything (clear), as if our readers were (kid). She also said we should write about different ideas in different ways and not use the same words several times a row. How time (fly)! It was a very useful and unforgettable experience. I can't wait to do it again.
