Cara worked as a newspaper reporter for eight years, and experienced plenty of interesting things —but the stories that she was in hardly ever came out on the frontpage . “Time and again ,” she writes on her blog , “the small was moving : the first day of school, the wind moved a boy to a place far away , the final months of care for a dying person .”
Though Cara is no longer a reporter, she's never up her interests in small stories. And now , living in Cambridge, she looks the special moments in people and places that are around her, the stories with a reporter's eyes, and enjoying the stories with people
On her website, The Small Story , you will find a story about a man finding art again through an MFAprogram for blind people ; and a wonderful piece on Cambridge's
contest in which the winning photo can be on show for a whole year.
None of the people or things her stories is famous , but all of them have meaning to people , and are used for people to look through . There's even a space to your own story , telling about the most important person in your own life and show him your love.
