In a faraway village, there was a poor farmer. He had a large goose. One morning, when the farmer came to the goose's nest, he saw a yellow and glittering egg there. He was very surprised because the egg was very different from the usual one. He took the egg home. When he found it was a gold egg, he was very happy. The next morning, the same thing occurred. The farmer sold his gold eggs and he had much money soon.
The farmer became more and more greedy. "It's too slow, only one egg a day. I want all gold eggs at once. " So he killed the goose. When he looked inside, he found nothing in its body.
