It's not necessary for friends to be the same. My best friend Larry is quite different ①________ me. He is taller and ②_________ (outgoing) than me. We both like sports, but he plays tennis better, so he always wins. However, he often helps to bring out the best in me. So I'm getting better at tennis. Larry is much less hard—working, though. I always get better grades than he does, so maybe I should help him more.
