Helen Keller was born in the U.S. in 1880. As a baby, she became blind and deaf. She couldn't<br />see or hear. Helen's teacher drew letters in Helen's hand and taught her to spell.<br />Later Helen learned to read, write and speak. She wrote a book about herself and traveled<br />all over the world. Helen is a role model for blind people and also for you and me.
