    Years ago I was a successful teacher at a university, but I wasn't happy. So I started playing the guitar to get relaxation from the work. Late in the evening, I wrote “little songs”. I sang on the weekends. Finally, I joined a band and performed at nightclubs.

    One afternoon, suddenly, I realized I wasn't following my own heart. Be a rock star! So I gave up teaching to follow my childhood dream. One week after I started my new job as a rock star, my band broke up. I listened to our songs over and over again. Why did we have to give up NOW?

    Then I had an “aha” moment. That tune (曲调) featured my voice and guitar playing. Perhaps my sound was stronger as a singer-songwriter than as the lead singer of a pop act.
