A young woman named Jessie got a parrot as a gift. But the parrot had a bad habit：It was always rude.
Jessie tried to change the bird. She spoke to the bird with only polite (word) and played soft music to it.
But the bird didn't change at all. It became even (rude). Jessie angrily caught the bird and put it in the fridge. For a few minutes the parrot kicked and shouted. Then suddenly there was total silence.
Fearing that she might hurt the parrot, Jessie quickly (open) the door of the fridge. The parrot calmly stepped out onto Jessie's arms and said: "I am very sorry about my rude language and actions. I want to do everything (correct) my rude actions."
Jessie was surprised to hear that. As she wanted to ask why it changed so much, the bird spoke very (soft): "May I ask what the turkey (火鸡) did?"
