        When you visit a restaurant, you may see some people eating on their own. In the past, it might have seemed (奇怪 ) to eat alone, because this might have suggested that they had no friends or disliked socializing (社交) with others. However, that is (改变).

        According to a new  (调 查) by a US-based research company, the average adult eats six meals alone each week and 387 meals each year. That means eating alone has (已 经) been a new trend (趋势). In China, eating alone is also getting (受欢迎的). "Eating alone can (允许) people to enjoy dinner in a private space freely," China Daily noted.

        It is true that when people (选择) to eat with other people, they must be influenced by them. If those people share (相似的) habits, they are lucky and can enjoy a satisfying meal. If not, they must deal with the terrible experience of bad table (礼仪) , upsetting dialogues and (糟糕的) food.
