Jorg, a 28-year-old Germanstudent, rode 5,800 kilometers in China for his trip blog(博客). He wanted to learn about the Chinese Dream.
"What's your ChineseDream?" This is the question he asked every stranger he met on his 100-daytrip.
Jorg came to China for thefirst time in 2011. After a year in China, he was able to speak Chinese.Because of his interest in Chinese culture, he went to Zhejiang University in2017.
Jorg learned "ChineseDream" in 2013, and now it has become one of the hottest words in China. To learn the true meaning of it among Chinese people, he started his trip inMay 2018.
Jorg believes that ridingacross China is natural. And it is also environmentally-friendly. He found thatpeople in the cities usually follow their hearts during his trip. What's more, older generation(一代) of Chinese cares moreabout social stability (社会的稳定) but the young generationcares more about education and environment.
"People look for theirways to make their dreams come true. They all believe that a strong (强大的)country is the most meaningful." Jorg said.
