    The Qingming Festival is usually in April. It's a good time for people to go outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery of springtime and go to the graves (墓) of beloved ones. Since 2008, the Qingming Festival has been a public holiday in China. The holiday is also called Tomb Sweeping Day in English.

    Along the River During the Qingming Festival is a famous painting about this festival. It was drawn by Zhang Zeduan. People also wrote many poems about the Qingming Festival. Among them, the most famous one may be Du Mu's poem-Qingming.
