Have you watched the Chinese Poetry Conference(中国诗词大会)? It was a popular TV show during the Spring Festival. It reminds people of many ancient Chinese poems (诗).
The TV show helps people find the beauty of Chinese poetry. After watching the show, a lot of people said, "How beautiful Chinese poetry is!" It also introduces an excellent girl to us—Wu Yishu. Wu is a 16-year-old student from Shanghai. She beat other competitors(参赛者) in the Chinese Poetry Conference on February 7, 2017. "We are not surprised at her success," one of Wu's teachers said, "She really loves Chinese poetry."
Wu fell in love with ancient poetry when she was a little child. She would feel excited as soon as she read it. She said, "Chinese poetry gives me different feelings. I don't care about the result of the competition. I just love poetry. It brings me joy and fun." It is said that Wu has already remembered about 2,000 poems by now. How amazing!
