Wang Ling was a lovely girl. She went to the U. K. to learn English, She lived in Jack's family. It was Chinese New Year's Day, but Wang Ling WIN not happy. Why? Because it was New Year's Day in China, but not in the U.K. On the last New Year's Day, in China, she got new clothes and had a good time with her mum and dad. She missed her parents very much, Jack's family wanted to make Wang Ling happy. "Can you teach me to make dumplings?" asked Jack's mother.
"Sure." Wang Ling taught Jack's family to, make dumplings. She also taught them to use chopsticks. Jack gave Wang Ling a box. There was a pair of new shoes in the box. "Happy New Year, Wang Ling!" Everyone said. "Happy New Year!" Wang Ling laughed. "Thank you very much. I have a good day today!"
