Next time you're in a public place, take a look around you, and count how many people are using their phones. I can tell you, that it is probably than half, whether you're on a bus, in a cafe or simply down the street.
I'm not saying that I am an exception（例外）of this, but it （使吃惊）me how people can spend so much time on their phones without talking to . Has it gone too far?
Recently, my smartphone down and I had to use a really old phone just to keep me in touch with my family and . I loved it. I loved being free from the Internet and I didn't mind not having updates（最新消息）about what my friends were doing. It allowed to spend more time enjoying my time in London and watching the people around me and really see was going on.
However, I knew that as soon as I got my smartphone back, I would be one of those people again. Perhaps I should just go back to using the basic phone and forget I have ever got my smartphone back.
