It's reported that great many Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioners in the Bay Area in the US state of California are working together (support) TCM among Chinese communities and beyond.
"TCM(offer) a good alternative medicine for the American society, and another choice for patients besides Western medicine," Chu said.
Li, is to officially take office on the seven-member board after a ceremony next Monday, said he hoped all the TCM practitioners in the Bay Area would work together to have more Americans and members of all communities to benefitTCM treatment. The board will work together with licensed TCM practitioners to make future plans to launch education (program) aimed at training young people to carry on the heritage of TCM.
Prof. Art Johnson, (teach) physician health care at Stanford University, said that TCM is part of the family medicine program of Stanford School of Medicine.
"TCM (refer) to quite a bit by family medicine doctors," he said.
He(strong) supports the promotion of TCM and health medicine to a (large) area, which will bring benefits to more people that suffer pains from disease. "TCM opens up a new understanding about healing system," said Johnson.
