Lately,her parents were told by the doctor that their child was too weak to receivechemo and she probably would die before Thanksgiving. Thinking it could be thelast birthday party for her, her parents decided to give her a big andmemorable birthday party.

Lilaexperienced her birthday prom (毕业舞会), and even wedding ceremonyall in one. Her parents wanted to givethem to her. She might not liveto see another. Countless people donated their time and money to make sure thateverything from the food to the music and customs was perfect. Some people evencame from a long way to attend the party and congratulate the little girl. Lilagot to hang out with her favorite Disney princesses while dressing as Cinderella.
Thesweetest of all, she even "married" her dad. Dad proposed to littleLila and held her in his arms to dance, knowing that she could never have areal wedding. Dad told a reporter: "We rally thank everyone for whatthey've done or our family. Without their help, we probably could never havehad such a big party for her.
