Dear Dad,
Today I was in the shopping mall and planning to buy you a Father's day card. I read many cards, but no one could tell what I really want to say to you.
You'll be 74 years old soon, Dad. And you and I will have 45 Father's Days together this Sunday.
Last week, I watched you when you were getting out of the car and suddenly(突然) I found you were old and weak(虚弱的). I know it is time for me to look after you.
In the spring of forty years ago, I was happy to plant tomatoes with you. This week I am planning to do that with you again. I don't know whyit is important to me but it is. In fact, Dad, I don't really like tomatoes but I like planting them with you.
I guess what I'm trying to say today, Dad, is what every son or daughter wants to say to their dad. You always give our family too much.
Though I hardly(几乎不) ever listen to your words and often make you angry, you love me a lot. I know words can't show all that I want to say. But I still want to say,"" I love you, Dad."
Yours,
Sally
