    Vitamins (维他命) help our bodies (身体) grow strong and keep healthy. We need vitamins every day. How do we get them? Just remember the vitamin alphabet  (字母表): A, B, C, D, E.

    Vitamin A

    Vitamin A is good for your eyes and skin (皮肤). It helps them keep healthy.

    Vitamin A is in carrots, mangoes, milk, and eggs.

    Vitamin B

    There are many different kinds (种 类) of Vitamin B: Vitamin B1, B2, B6, B9, and B1 2. Some help give us energy (能量) . Others help make blood (造血) .

    Vitamin B is in potatoes, bananas, bread, rice, chicken, fish, cheese, eggs, and green vegetables.

    Vitamin C

    Vitamin C is good for our bones (骨头), teeth, and even our brains (脑) .

    We get Vitamin C from orange > toma­toes and potatoes.

    Vitamin D

    Vitamin D helps make strong bone.

    We get Vitamin D from eggs, fish, milk and from the sun, too!

    Vitamin E

    Vitamin E helps keep our blood healthy.

    Vitamin E is in nuts (坚果) and green vegetables.
