Rami Adam, a 44-year-old man, is called Uncle Tony. He helped the children of his native city during the Syrian war. At the (开始), he planned to carry food for them. But his daughter advised him to carry her(自己的) toys to Syrian children.
Adham said, "The first time, we went to a camp near a (小溪). We had brought food. But when we started giving away the toys, kids were more excited. I (意识到) they weren't thinking about food, they just wanted a toy." When they saw the toys, (每个人) was smiling. He learned that toys are one of the (最必要的) things in their life. "They don't feel we're just giving them a toy, they feel that we're backing them. That means(无论什么) happened to them, we're here for them." said Adam. He went (穿过) Turkey into Syria. It's a dangerous trip that he has to make by foot. However, in his (观点), the dangers he faces on his every trip aren't enough to stop him. He has so far made the journey to Aleppo 28 times, and doesn't plan to stop (直到) the war ends.
