Hamish is the youngest in his family. Sometimes that is fun. But it isn't always fair. Hamish never has anything new. He always has old things. He has Ben's old computer. He has Tom's old bike. He even has Ben's old bed, when Ben grows too big for it. "My brothers often have new things, but I never have anything that is mine." he thinks. So he goes out to find something that is only his. First, he finds a feather. But the feather is a bird's. Then he finds a shell. But the shell is a nail's. Then he finds a ball. But the ball is a dog's. I never find anything that is only mine. "Hamish says. Then he sees something. He runs, it runs too. He stops, it stops. He plays with it on sunny days. But Hamish can't see it on cloudy or windy days. They also play together at night. Hamish finds something that is only his!
