        Bill Clinton took office (就职) on January 20th, 1993 and became the 42nd US president. He is the first US president who was born after World WarⅡ. He is also one of the youngest presidents of all the US presidents.

        Clinton was born in 1946 in a poor family. Three months before he was born, his father, William Blythe died. When he was young, his mother remarried (再婚) Roger Clinton, so his family name was changed.

    In the summer of 1963, Clinton was asked to visit the city of Washington, D.C. During his visit, he met President Kennedy in the White House. At that time, he wanted to become a president, and then he was successful!
