Dear Linda,
How are things with you? My sister Helen and I are on vacation now.
We started in the UK. We spent two days in London and another day in Edinburgh. We had a great time. The only bad thing was the weather — it never stopped raining.
Then we took the train to Paris. It was sunny there. We stayed there for three days. My sister really wanted to visit Disneyland Paris, so we went there on the first day. Well, I have to say it was no fun. But we met some nice people from Beijing and spent two great days with them. One of them, Clive, will go to your university (大学) next year.
Then we went to Munich by plane. I bought you a gift there. I hope you'll like it.
After that, we went to Zurich. It was very expensive and we couldn't stay long, so that's why we're in Rome now! Rome is the last stop. We'll come back in four days.
See you then.
Yours,
Mike
