When I was little, I lived a happy life. My parents took me to play in many places, such as parks, mountains and museums. And at school my teachers were kind and friendly. They left me little homework. We used to play games and watch cartoons in class.

However, my bad dreams began when I got to Grade Four. The teachers were stricter and the subjects were more difficult. My grades were dropping, which made my parents very worried about me. They compelled me to study all the day. I was so tired that I thought the school was not so fun. Then in Grade Five, I kept having the problem, failing grades. I almost lost my confidence in learning.

Grade Six was the last year when I was in primary school. On April 21 that year, our school had a sports meeting. I tried my best to run quickly. Luckily, I won the races for 100 m and 200 m. It was on the winner's platform(站台)that I realized I was the fastest runner in the school. From then on, I studied harder and more carefully. I wanted to prove(证明) that I was also powerful in study. Then my grades became better and better.

Sometimes, when you worry that you may fail, you end up failing. But when you believe in yourself and keep working hard, you'll win. So without pain, suffering, regrets or failures, you will never become the greatest.
