Portora Royal School, situated in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, is founded by Royal Charter in 1608. All pupils are to maintain a standard of behaviour and presentation of which they, their families and their school would take pride in and a standard which enables them to keep their self-respect. No one deserves to be a victim of that. If a pupil is being bullied or knows that someone else is, this should be reported right away, and it will be investigated immediately, sensitively and effectively. Not telling means the victims will continue to suffer and the bully will continue, probably, to bully other pupils. All have a responsibility to make sure that bullying is not allowed to occur in the school.
