An Elevator on the Side of a Cliff
With the release of behind-the-scenes underwater photos from the Avadar 2, combined with the news that filming of Avadar 3 is almost done, there's perhaps no (fine) time to revisit the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in Hunan, park known for its towering and pillar-like formations (形成物),which is similar to the floating landscape of alien-world Pandora.
One of the fastest and most effortless (way) to experience the area is by riding up the worlds tallest outdoor glass elevator. The Bailong Elevator, (build) onto the side of a huge cliff in the park, consists of three double-decker lifts, each of can transport as many as 46 visitors up the mountain in less than two minutes per trip.
Completed in 2002, the Elevator (serve) as an easy gateway to some of the main attractions of the park and the daily 18,000 visits of tourists makes one of the hottest attractions. (fortunate), it was closed because of the outbreak of the COVID-19. With the reopening in March 2020, the park regained its popularity. The daily visitor numbers have recovered 70% of pre-COVID figures.
With the world's tallest bungee jump and the famous Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, the park is really well worth(visit).
