My computer was hacked(非法侵入) the other day. I visited a website and suddenly the screen began to flash, with a warning message saying there's a mistake and I should call Microsoft for help. I couldn't turn the flashing screen off and the phone number was right there so I phoned them. MISTAKE NUMBER ONE.
A lady answered the phone saying "Microsoft help desk". That sounded right so I told her what was happening on my screen and she said she could help me out. She gave me instructions and 1 followed her. MISTAKE NUMBERTWO.
For the next fifteen minutes the woman scanned(扫描) my computer and did lots of things to "fix" it. Things were happening on my screen so I thought she was just doing the right thing. MISTAKENUMBER THREE.
Finally, the woman told me that in order to prevent such problem from happening again I should pay for a fire walk(防火墙). I asked what this would cost because by then I was beginning to "smell a rat". She said it would be almost four hundred American dollars. That's when I realized I was being cheated and told her I would think about it and call her back. Then I called my son, a computer expert.
My son told me that there were scammers(骗子) out to take advantage of people like me. They want to steal my information and my money in the electronic bank. My son also told me never to let anyone into my computer again without checking with him first. I'm getting to look down on the hackers and always remember to watch out the strange phone numbers online.
