In winter, it is always snowy in a forest. It is very difficult to find enough food for all the animals.

On a cold winter day, an old lion, the king of the big forest, says that he is on his deathbed. So he asks all the animals to come and listen to his last wishes alone.

The monkey comes to the lions cave(洞穴). He stands there and goes in. Then a sheep goes in. Before she comes out, a rabbit goes in to hear the last wishes of the king of animals.

But ten minutes later the lion goes out of his cave and looks well again. He sees a fox(狐狸) waiting outside. "Why don't you come in?" asks the lion. "I beg your pardon," smiles the fox, "I see many animals go into your cave, but nobody comes out. So I will wait outside until they come out."
