How to Make a Simple Thermometer (温度计)
Step 1: Fill the plastic with water and add some food coloring.
Step 2: Put the plastic straw into the bottle but don't touch theof the bottle. Secure(固定)the straw with modeling clay at the top of the bottle.
Step 3: the water level on the straw. Check the room temperature and write it at the mark.
Step 4: Put the bottle in the pot of hot water, wait water stops rising in the straw. Take the temperature of water with the glass thermometer and mark that on the straw.
Step 5: You now have marked temperatures on the straw. Make equally spaced (等距的) marks between the numbers and you have a home-made thermometer.
