Ian Ellis packed up his things and headed to the Frampton Marsh nature reserve(保护区).He was planning on doing some bird watching. But instead, he took part in an unbelievable1!
As Ian looked through his telescope, he saw a herd of cows surrounding something in the mud (泥土), so Ian2to see what it was. And what he found was a complete3!
The reserve was only a few miles away from the ocean. And somehow, a 5-day-old baby seal (海豹) found its way to the grassland and became4in the mud. So Ian managed to take it to the5Natureland Seal Shelter.
At the shelter(收容所), the seal was named Celebration, and it was6that it was suffering from several7. But thanks to Ian discovering it, Celebration was right where it8to be in order to get well.
Celebration spent 16 weeks at the shelter. Once Celebration9recovered (康复), it was time to10it and its new friend, Charlie, back into the wild. As the one who'd found Celebration, it seemed fitting that Ian would do the11of sending them back to their true12.
Charlie raced off straight to the sea, but Celebration was a bit sad to13the human friends it had made. It gradually made its way to the water and eventually swam out to sea, but not before14back to say goodbye one last time.
Seeing it go was bittersweet but Ian said overall it really was a15experience.
