I did a survey about doing housework in our class last month. Here are the results.
70% of the students say they do(杂务) at home. They think they should help their parents. Some boys take out the(垃圾) and clean the living room. Other boys help(扫) the floor and take care of the pets, like taking the dog for a walk after meals. Some girls like doing the dishes and helping(叠) the clothes. Others help make the bed or go to the store. They believe doing chores helps them develop(独立) and helps them understand the idea of(公平). Also they want to(提供) a comfortable and clean environment for themselves.
30% of the students(厌恶) doing chores. Some think it's a(浪费) of time. They want to spend more time on schoolwork into (为了) get good grades. Others think they need time to relax because they have too much stress from school.
