I think a world without ads(广告) would be boring because people wouldn't have the chance to watch something new and colorful besides the TV program itself. Ads are an important part of the TV business. In my opinion, TV survives(生存) because of advertising. I remember a TV ad which I liked very much when I was young. It was about a famous chocolate bar(条块) called Crunch. The unforgettable slogan (words used in ads), "Crunch! The chocolate which is crispy!" ended that ad. I first saw the ad on a bus. A beautiful girl was going to enjoy a chocolate bar. Everything around her was quiet. When she started to bite(咬) the chocolate bar, there was a terrible shaking. The girl was surprised; but instead of stopping, she went on and bit it another time. That time, it was like an earthquake happening around her. "The girl liked eating so much that she didn't care about what was happening around her," I thought at that time. In my eyes, that TV ad is very great. Feelings of humor and feelings of surprise were combined(结合) to create a funny ad. It seemed that the chocolate bar was so delicious that one could forget the world around him/her. I believe many people, including children, must have liked this ad and been influenced to buy the chocolate bar. See, good ads can give customers a feeling of satisfaction about the products and succeed in making customers buy the products as early as possible. |
