Vicky worked in Chicago. Every day, she travelled by bus1her office and home. She noticed something special about the bus driver on a bus. Whenever the passengers got on2bus, he would smile at them. And everyone would give him a big smile back.
However, Vicky 3noticed a passenger who never smiled back at the driver. Every time he got on the bus, he made4give him a seat. He even made loud noises when he coughed（咳嗽）.
Even this didn't make the driver stop5at the passengers. Instead, the "noisy" man never seemed to see the smile.
This got Vicky more interested. Once, it was like any other 6, Vicky got on the bus, suddenly she asked the driver, "Sir, can I ask you a question? Why not 7that noisy man to get out of the bus?"
The driver looked at Vicky and said, "He's my guest."
"Then take back your smile at least. Don't be so8to him."
"Let me tell you about my dog." The driver said patiently.
"Every time the moon9, my dog barks at it crazily."
Hearing this, Vicky was confused and said, "Sorry,10I am not sure what you are trying to tell me."
The driver said, "My dog keeps barking but the moon still shines."
