There is a little horse in the forest. He is smaller and shorter than his mother. One day, his mother asks him to carry a bag of rice to his grandma's house. His grandma lives across (对面)the river. So he should go across the river. But he doesn't know how deep (深) the river is. He asks the cow, "Grandpa Cow. how deep is the river?" The cow says, "It's not deep. It's just as high as my lower legs. You can go across it!" But the squirrel says. "Oh no! It's higher than both of my mother and me!" Little Horse thinks for a moment. He goes across the river at last. It's really not deep!
