Last month there was a car accident. A six﹣year﹣old girl was hit by a car and hurt her head. Her father stayed with her in the hospital, while her mother was staying with the other three children at home. The mother had no one to help look after her children at home if she went to the hospital to look after her daughter. So she called our volunteering organization （组织）for help. The mother was so helpless that I decided to help her. I looked after her children in her home for a few days. The oldest one was only eight who felt sorry for his sister. I always hugged him to make him fell better. I told him that his sister would come home with mom and dad.
Some days later, the news came that the surgery（手术）was successful. Then they returned home. I was glad to meet the mom who had such trust in me to look after her family. It was also such a great feeling just to be able to help.
If everyone just spent a little more time caring for someone in need, it would be a much better world for all of us to live in.
