It's July 20th. Chen Jie is writing an e-mail to her mom at summer camp.
Hi, Mom!
Today is the first day of my summer camp. I feel so excited. I make two new friends here, Mary and Jack. They're so friendly and we often talk with each other.
We'll have a few fun things here. On July 21st, we will go to the nature park and have a picnic there. On July 23rd, we'll go to Uncle Li's farm and pick some fresh fruits and vegetables. On July 29th, there will be a sports meet. I will run. On July 31st, We'll have a big party together. I'll sing and dance with
Mary. Jack will do a magic show. That will be great! Then we'll go back home on August 2nd.
