Blind cat finds his place in my heart

I adopted(领养) my cat Egon two years ago. He was born blind (盲的). But he is a lovely cat all the same.

When I first heard about Egon, he was only 4 months old and was unable to see. Wouldn't he be too difficult to take care of? I wasn't sure if I should take him.

Then I met him and it was love at first sight (一见钟情). He is clever and funny. Although he can't see, he is very interested in the world around him.

I took him home. He spent some time getting familiar(熟悉)with my place. Very soon, he knew where every table or chair was. But I have to be careful not to move my furniture (家具) around too much. I can't take him outside either, unless we're going to the hospital. He gets really scared(害怕的) when he's in a new place.

We have lots of fun together. He likes to sit next to me when I'm watching TV. Every morning, I wake up and give him a big hug. He doesn't have to be able to see me to know that I love him.
