Stephen Hawking, the most famous physicist (物理学家) of his time. He (die) at the age of 76 in 2018. He had an (ill) at 21. At the time, doctors said he would only live a few (year). But he lived more than 50 years more and continued his scientific work. The illness put him in a wheelchair. In his 2013 book My Brief History, Hawking wrote about his (one) learning of the illness;“I felt it was very unfair — why should this happen to ( I )?”He said,“At the time, I though my life was over, now, 50 years later, I can be quietly satisfied with my life.”
Hawking spent all his life (explain)subjects like the beginning of the universe and the black holes. His 1988 book A Brief History of Time became international bestseller and brought him a great fame. Hawking was also famous for his (success) research on black holes.
