Last Sunday, I interviewed an Asian singer, Emily. She told me something (幽默的) about herself.
She said she came from a workingclass (背景). She used to be shy and silent. She seldom made (演讲) in public. She didn't exactly dare to do anything in person. She was even afraid of ants, a kind of little (昆虫).
All these (影响) her in her boarding school. She often (失败的) her examination and she was (缺席的)from school from time to time. As a result, her test scores were lower.
Now she has changed a lot. She dares to deal with her problems. And she has made many friends, such as an African girl, a (欧洲的) boy and a British man. They are all helpful to her. She doesn't need any introduction in front of crowds, and she gets tons of (关注) everywhere she goes. In general, she requires her private guards around her when she goes out. Her parents take (自豪) in her.
