Many people went to watch the movie The Battle at Lake Changjin during the National Day oliday. The film is about the War to Resist Us Aggression and Aid Korea(抗美援朝战争).
The main characters of the movie are a pair of brothers--Wu Qianli and Wu Wanli. They both join the Chinese People's Volunteers Army. Wu Qianli seems to be very serious, but actually has a kind heart. He has always carried a notebook that records 677 names of his comrades (战友).Most of his comrades have been dead. His younger brother, Wu Wanli grows from a countryside teenager to be a brave solider.
The war broke out in cold winter in 1950.Lake Changin is located in North Korea. Actually, the real battle is much more dangerous and difficult than the film. During the battle , many soldiers didn't move in the ice and snow in order not to be found by the enemies(敌人) .And many were frozen to death. Under such difficult conditions, our soldiers still beat their enemies.
Many people are moved by this film. It especially shows those heroes who fought bravely and selflessly for our nation and our people. Their spirits and heroic actions continue to influence the younger generations (代，辈子) deeply. Now we live in a peaceful country and we should remember that the peaceful life of today depends on the hard work of the older generations. So it is the duty of the younger generations to make our country stronger in this new time.
