l think you must know a driver 's license(护'照)'but maybe you have never heard about "elephant riding licenses". A college in Southwest China's Yunnan Province has showed some new students with "elephant riding licenses".
The licenses mean wildlife protection. Wild Asian elephants are national first-class protected animals. The university wants to make more people have the chance of protecting elephants.
The license shows some information. First, you can see the driver's information on the left page. Then at the right is the elephant's information. Each elephant has its own local name, such as "Xiaoyangyu".Most of the elephants are named of the food. Also, the license shows descriptions (描述) of breaking the rules, like "drunk driving", "running red lights", "eating trees in the green belt" and "using a phone while riding".
People from the Internet loved the interesting idea, and many said they wanted their own animal license, too." If so, we guys from Inner Mongolia need to have a horse riding license then." a 19-year-old student said.
