These days, with COVID-19 largely under control (被控制住) in China, outdoor sport fans have started to go outside and enjoy the beauty of nature with1friends and family.
Wang Meng is one of them. As a 34-year-old mountaineering (登山运动) guide from Beijing, Wang is glad he has2turned his interest into a full-time job. Like many of his workmates, he3a lot of friends and even met his wife through climbing.
Wang used to work for a big company. All his family thought it was a good job for life. However, he4a different experience after developing a love for outdoor sports. Four years ago, Wang gave up his job and opened a small company5guidance for outdoor sports fans. “I find6great pleasure in doing my job. I like to enjoy beautiful rivers, mountains and make friends through outdoor activities.”
Wang makes different trip7for different age groups. And the prices are different8. For example, a one-day climbing trip over 10 km costs about 90 yuan for one person.
“After staying at home9a long time during the outbreak (爆发) of COVID-19, people now prefer going on a trip to enjoy the beauty of nature,” Wang said. “It not only helps people relax from their busy daily work,10also offers a chance to develop lasting friendships.”
