Ben started painting at the age of 3. He became very 1 at it and was already famous by the age of 5. He painted many beautiful and interesting paintings. A lot of people bought his paintings at 2 prices.
They said, "This boy will be more famous when he is a little 3 , and then we are going to 4 these pictures for more money."
Ben's paintings are quite 5 from those of other artists. He never paints on the whole canvas (画布). He paints on half of it and the other half is always left empty.
"That's very 6 and creative (有创意的)," everybody said. " 7 other painters have done that before!"
One day, somebody asked him, "Please tell me this, Ben. Why do you paint on the bottom (底) half of your pictures, 8 not on the top half?"
"Well, the reason is very simple," Ben answered with a smile. "Because I'm 9. My brushes (画笔) 10 reach very high."
