I'm Lennox from Kentucky, the U.S. A. Here's the story of my family village.
About seven years ago, my parents built a small house village on our family's land in the countryside. It is made up of five small houses.
To have a green life, our family chose this kind of housing. These small houses save energy (能源) because smaller spaces are easier to heat and cool. We try to be nice to the environment. For example, we follow the rules of recycling and only produce(生产) one bag of rubbish each week.
I feel very comfortable living in my two-floor house. On the first floor, I have a pink sofa and a brown dresser (梳妆台). I also have an open bookshelf with a TV on it. On the second floor there is a small loft(小阁楼) with my bed in it.
However, I don't really like the way the inside of my house looks now. So I'm planning to do a makeover of it. First, I'll get a new cover for my sofa and paint my dresser in another color. Besides, the wall next to my dresser looks empty. I want to decorate it with something super cool. I'm looking forward to the new look of my house!
