A king(国王)has a daughter. Her name is Christina. She is tall. She has big blue eyes and long blond hair. The king loves his daughter very much and he asks his people to be kind to her. Every day, Christina stands(站)on the castle(城堡)wall, so that everyone can be nice to her. But every day, only some people look up kindly, and no one waves(挥手)or smiles(微笑).
This makes Christina unhappy(不高兴的).
On a fine day, Christina meets a girl, Joan. Joan has short brown hair and small black eyes, and she looks short. She waves and everyone waves back to her. They also smile at her. They look very nice. Christina wants to know why they are happy. She asks Joan to come to the castle.
When Joan comes, Christina asks her, "Why do people wave and smile at you? Why are they kind to you? "
Joan says, "Because I wave and smile at them first(首先). "
After Joan goes, Christina thinks for a long time.
A new day comes. Christina stands on the castle wall and waves. She smiles, loo. Joan waves and smiles back. Some other people wave and smile back, too. This makes Christina happy. So she is very kind to her people，waves and smiles at them every day.
