    Haveyou ever thought about your future when you were young? What did you dream ofbeing when you were a little boy or girl? Did you have any ideas about yourfuture when you were a child? As for me, I dreamed of being a trader when I wasa little boy because I wanted to make lots of money. But now I'm 15and I have very different ideas about my future. Money isn't themost important to me. I'd like to do something thatI love.

       ▲    I really enjoy STEM subjects — science,technology (技术学),engineering and math. Science and math are the most interestingfor me. I will take very important tests next year. They arecalled GCSEs. I have to take the tests before I start my secondary education (中等教育). If I get good grades inscience, math and chemistry (化学), I will study thesesubjects for another test called A-Level. If I do well in it, Ican go to university.

    Atuniversity, I will study marine biology (海洋生物学) becauseI'm veryinterested in sea life. I hope I'll have Ms. Green as myteacher. If she teaches me, it'll be much easier to getgood results. When I finish university, I'llmove to California, USA and work at SeaWorld in San Diego. They'realways looking for young scientists. If I move to the USA, I probably won't comeback to the UK often.

    I knowI won't become a scientist if I don't dowell at school. So this year, I'm going to study reallyhard and I hope that my dream will come true!
