My dad is a patient, loving and giving person, but his kindness that really touched me was one night1we were driving home after visiting my grandmother.
At a small crossing, we saw that a car stopped in the middle of the road and got in 2way of our driving. An older lady was talking on her phone and staring up at a street sign, clearly trying to work out3. She came back to her car, looking4than before. As Dad stood at her window and asked if she was OK, she burst5tears, explaining she had lost her way.
It turned out she was a caregiver(照料者) and6to find the house of the client(委托人) she meant to be helping that night. When she showed Dad the address she meant to be at, Dad handed her his business card and told her to follow him, and7him at the number on the card if she lost in travel.
My dad drove to the address, only a suburb(郊区) or two out of our way, and found the house for8. The look of thankfulness on her face9reward enough for Dad.
The next morning, the lady he'd helped the night before called him to thank him again for his kindness. I don't think I've10been so proud to be his daughter.
