Franz was a famous composer(作曲家)who lived and worked in Vienna. He was born in 1797, the twelfth of his parents' fourteen children. His father was the headmaster of a school. Franz's father was his first music teacher. Later the organist(风琴手)of the church he attended taught him how to play the piano, organ and violin. He started schooling at the age of eleven and had daily music lessons in school. He spent so much time on his music that he neglected(忽略)the rest of the subjects. His father was unhappy as he did not want Franz to take up music as a career(事业), However, Franz did just that because of his love for music. Throughout his life, Franz never gave up his interest in music. Even when he was very sick, he was still composing. His last group of songs got the title "Swan-Song" after his death.
